Caribbean CruisesThe Southern Caribbean cruise

San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; St. Croix USVI:  Basseterre, St. Kitts; St. Johns, Antigua; Castries, St. Lucia; San Juan, Puerto Rico

Ports include:

San Juan

For a glimpse of Old Spain, take a stroll into the 16th century in San Juan.  San Juan has two distinct personalities: there's the vibrant, modern port city, and then there's the historic colonial outpost first conquered by Juan Ponce de Leon in 1508. Spanish influence is evident everywhere in the city. Visit fortifications, museums and cathedrals throughout the city and remember to wear comfortable shoes.

St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

Souvenir hunters can go wild in this duty-free shopping mecca. Sightseers can tour by helicopter or submarine. And we have excursions for photography buffs, golfers, divers, sailors and those just looking to relax on the beach.

St. Croix USVI

This quaint, picturesque waterfront town is brimming with history and beauty. The Victorian style architecture creates a charming skyline for this small port city, and within it are numerous historical buildings and museums that can be explored by foot in just one day. Fort Frederik is the town's most recognized National Landmark and dates back to 1700. Other favorites include the Gothic style St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Emancipation Park, and the elegant Customs House.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

What is a town square fashioned after London's Piccadilly Circus doing in the middle of an island that once served as the sugar-trading epicenter of the Caribbean? It's just one of many surprises St. Kitts has in store for visitors to this historic and enchanting piece of Caribbean real estate

St. Johns, Antigua

Locals say there is a beach for every day of the year on Antigua. This paradise is world-renowned for its crystal-clear waters and velvety sands -- the perfect haven for sunbathers, snorkelers or swimmers. Visit Nelson's Dockyard for a taste of nautical history. Or purchase some of the island's wares, Cavalier Rum, hot pepper sauces, pottery and straw baskets.

Castries, St. Lucia

St. Lucia has been a part of the British Commonwealth since 1803. But prior to that, it was often occupied by the French, which is evident in much of the island's culture. Castries offers a colorful local market and great shopping. And the surrounding areas offer lush rain forests, striking waterfalls, beautiful beaches and Sulfur Springs - the world's only drive-through volcano.
